Training Courses

As market leaders in our field, we believe that ongoing training for flooring professionals is essential. Therefore, we run product training courses throughout the year at our purpose-built training school, located in Cheddleton, Staffordshire.

Our standard course is titled 'Subfloor Preparation and Adhesive Selection' which covers preparation of the base along with selection and use of smoothing underlayments, levelling compounds, surface applied damp proof membranes and adhesives.

The course combines a lecture theatre style presentation with practical demonstrations in our specially designed demonstration area. Delegates are given the opportunity to try applying our products under the guidance of the course leader who will recommend best application methods.

All courses are presented by experts from within the F. Ball Technical Department who have extensive knowledge and experience of the flooring industry. This ensures that the content of our courses remains accurate and includes all the latest information about advances in adhesive and underlayment technology.

We are also able to tailor courses for individual companies over one or two days. The minimum number for these courses is five delegates. Please contact the Marketing Department for further details on our usual number.
